Creating web application in Ruby with a PHP billing system? -


i'm planning create new web application expertise in design , ui/ux hiring developer project.

i'd use whmcs billing system written in php , integrate our custom web app handle our backend billing , customer management. i'm wondering if reason write app in php or if should use different language such ruby.

whmcs have own api1 using guess i'm looking suggestions , experience others have had running 2 different languages need work together. we'll using wordpress our blog (php).

i'm trying think long term , develop writing scratch in language efficient , enjoyable @ same time not make things more complicated need be.

whatever language choose i'll emerging myself in can start learn better.

thoughts? ideas? experiences?

php - guestbook returning database data to flash -

i've been struggling problem long , unable make work, hope can me it. first, know php files correct , mysql database works fine. in flash, able submit comment database comments not display. did many tests such making returned_database flash separately , worked fine - can see old comments. long combine submitting 1 , returning 1 together, flash doesn't show comments more. put lower version flash effects on frame thinking doesn't collaborate returning flash, submitting flash works fine. since pretty complex problem hard me copy actionscript code because on different frames in flash. if has ideas fixing maybe can send file you?
