joomla2.5 - Joomla manual restoring from Cpanel -


i have joomla website being hacked , when restore, front end ok @ backend none of components of joomla working, link click same interface uploading not joomla, me solve issue or in updating joomla via cpanel without being logged in joomla backend?

you should download joomla patch file , take backup of old files , directory current joomla has installed. , follow below steps.

  1. open ftp client
  2. log in website
  3. navigate the folder joomla installed
  4. upload patched joomla installer folder
  5. open cpanel window
  6. go “file manager”
  7. navigate patched joomla installer uploaded via ftp, , check box next it.
  8. click extract
  9. after few seconds files should extracted
  10. lastly, login joomla admin, refresh page , version number should updated.
