html - User uploaded videos. How to view them? -


i making kind of social network. in part allow users upload videos , allow others watch them. have been researching on html 5 video tag. people better give multiple sources video 3 different formats namely ogg, mp4 , webm different browser compability. user may upload kind of video. may avi or flv or whatever. sure there possible work-around. know facebook , youtube use flash. have no idea on how started flash on html. there way around or guide flash ? please me out.

i know facebook , youtube use flash.

they do, not work around limited browser support arbitrary uploaded videos.

they transcode videos (you ffmpeg) on server formats support.
