windows - plug in .net 4.0 into .net 2.0 testing -


i have plug in developed .net 4.0, using wpf. have plug customers app running .net 2.0. believe can using com.

is there way plug in without using com, believe customer have modify plug in architecture.

but how can test on system, windows 7 .net 4.0?

would need uninstall 4.0 , install 2.0? couldn't develop more 4.0 features plug in.

should separate system, maybe running windows xp?

or maybe emulator? or vm?

what u recommend please ?

that interesting problem face; , have been in same situation before. mentioned in comment above, highly recommend use vm test. in point of fact, there great write-up on 'how-to' of here , here. there great tools here.
