Avoid faux bold and italic styles when using webfonts over fonts.com -


i'm using webfont service of fonts.com include webfonts site. however, publishing options of service not sufficient enough in case. want able declare font-weight , font-style every font loaded. way, avoid getting faux bold or italic styles if reason webfont can't loaded. can find more on topic here: http://www.metaltoad.com/blog/how-use-font-face-avoid-faux-italic-and-bold-browser-styles

i stumbled upon google webfont loader , tried use solve problem. however, can't figure out if , how i'm able set font-weight , font-style loaded font.com webfont. ideas?

ps: i'm aware there self-hosting option @ fonts.com solve problem, that's pricey option :)
