Change magento base URL without magento reference in the uRL -


while installing magento have set base url default installation magento directory.

the base url should www.yourdomain.com/magento or www.yourip.com/magento.

are there issues if set base url without magento reference (for example, http://www.yourdomain.com)?

if that, have put magento installation on root directory. if put on root directory, can access magento website writing base url (www.yourdomain.com).

there's no problem on working outside folder called 'magento'.
