safari - Highcharts tooltip not showing on chrome -


i have scatter chart 3 series, 1 points on x axis, 1 points on y axis, , 1 else. tooltips enabled , have formatter creates tooltip text various series. working when using firefox, tooltips expected. chrome or safari, tooltips not appear points on x axis. points other series work expected.

i have stopped in formatter function , seems nominal tooltip not display. ideas going on here or possible workarounds?
