facebook - Developer account verification problems for creating new app -


setup:

  1. i have been struggling of afternoon, trying understand why fb won't allow me create new login app.

  2. finally(!) figured out because have business account, not personal account. of course fb didn't tell me this. kept looping me around in circles developer area account page. no explanations. no error messages. redirects.

  3. through process, did register developer , required me verify text msg sent cell phone -- makes no sense, because evidently had wrong kind of account in first place!

  4. so, created second account -- time personal account. , again asking me verify developer registration cell phone.

problem:

since phone used aforementioned business account, fb rejecting number , appears i'm screwed. have 1 phone.

questions:

  1. is there way disconnect phone business account can attached personal account?

  2. or there way attach already-verified developer account (for lack of better term) new personal account?

  3. if neither of above possible, out of luck?

buy cheapest prepaid starter , use verification.
