jasper reports - Table of contents with page number - how to implement -

is possible implement table of contents page number on first page of pdf report?

i've read below links , refered in google:

on first link, using scriptlets this. want table of contents page number on first page of pdf report. not understand start. ideas?

i recommend checking this sample original documentation.

there no way (or @ least don't know/haven't found how) generate table of contents @ beginning (since there no way know pages numbers). have generate @ end (in summary band) , move afterwards want place it. move use jasperprint class, methods getpages, addpage, removepage.

i guess have subreports, if so, need pass jrbeancollectiondatasource filling during runtime each subreport (and return value master report).
